Meridian Dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Meridian, ID

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain patient records and medical documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient billing

Qualifications:

- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and X-Ray procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols

This position is for a 4 day per week schedule with alternating Monday/Fridays.
